In the Chief Security Office (CSO), we have a vital role in Helping Britain Prosper. We do that by protecting our customers, their data and their money from security threats, and by helping our businesses to make change safely and quickly. The configuration of IT solutions is an important part of operating and changing a secure environment, whether that's in Public Cloud, Private Cloud or On-Prem technologies. We're looking for someone to take lead of the Chief Security Office team who assure the configuration of IT solutions across the Group, and continue to develop the service we deliver to business teams and engineers about the compliance and security of their IT configurations. What You'll Do You'll lead a small team to assure the configuration of IT solutions across the Group, assess compliance and security risk and give advice to engineering teams about maintaining and improving security. You may also need to make recommendations to senior technology and business leaders about where to prioritise effort and resources. You'll be part of a broader Enterprise Vulnerability Management team, working among people skilled in scanning, pen testing, data analytics and driving security improvements with other teams. You'll be part of defining and implementing on the strategic direction of the function and its services in a changing cyber threat landscape. Experience of working in cyber security, engineering, technology management or technical risk & control management is preferred.
