Vacancy: Principal Front End Developer Location: Stockton on Tees with Hybrid Working Business Systems Development: Digital Together for a cleaner, healthier world. Johnson Matthey is looking for an experienced Principal Front End Developer who can contribute to its continued and ongoing digital expansion and growth.We're an agile team working within a well-established FTSE company and you'll be an essential member of the team working closely with the business on a range of exciting projects. As a Principal Front End Developer, you will focus on the day-to-day tasks of inhouse applications and will be hands-on involved with developing new code and validating functionalities. This role will report to the Platform Manager based in Kuala Lumpur or UK. Hands-on Development 70% of the time coding. Provide Level of Effort estimates for requirements Code scalable solutions and draft plans to implement them. A commitment to excellence, best practices, and the continuous improvement of our products, code base, processes, and tools Coordinate with backend developers to meet team and program goals Create and develop relationships with your development team members and other stakeholders, to enable effective and quality delivery Agile DevOps delivery projects and programmes. Requirements for the role: Knowledge of operating systems and environments; ability to develop and support software for multiple operating environments. Knowledge of software development life cycle; ability to use a structured methodology for delivering and managing new or enhanced software products to the marketplace. Knowledge of software engineering; ability to deliver new or enhanced fee-based software products.
