Your role will be to build upon, and implement HR policy, procedure, and integrate platforms that suit the environment, including building & evolving employee recognition values and metrics that are specific to our industry. You will work with a diverse workforce located across all continents, within a Melbourne based HQ.</p><p dir="ltr">You will be at the centre of our Managerial team, working closely with the CEO, COO, Finance, Operations and Recruitment, creating world class employee experiences that enable us to create our best work possible.</p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Your Responsibilities and Skills </strong><br></p><ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Manage & integrate HR platforms </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Implement new and manage existing employee recognition programs such as the Spawn Points Bonus program.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Manage onboarding and offboarding processes</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Keep up to date with and maintain an excellent knowledge of government laws, regulations and employer obligations </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Work with management to evolve employee recognition programs including values and metrics specific to the YouTube industry.</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Assist managers with performance reviews </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Participate in the development, implementation and compliance of policies and procedures </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Be the main point of contact for employee feedback, complaints and reports</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Manage employee engagement initiatives such as Spawnpoint Showdown (company-wide gaming tournament), annual surveys and benefits </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Assist in training and development of staff</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Work closely with Finance to ensure timely and accurate payment of employees in compliance with regional laws and regulations</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Conduct disciplinary action and manage dispute resolution</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Maintain employee records</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Work closely with the executive team to plan HR initiatives and report on the health of company culture</p></li></ul><p><br></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">5+ years experience in HR </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Proven ability to forge strong relationships internally </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Robust knowledge of Australian employment law (knowledge of employment law in other global jurisdictions highly regarded)</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Experience using and building HR platforms </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Be a self starter and have the ability to anticipate the needs of the company </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Excellent research skills and ability to constantly keep up with changing employment law </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Experience with employees located internationally highly regarded</p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Ability to manage self autonomously </p></li><li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Gaming, content creation or social media industry experience highly regarded</p></li></ul><p dir="ltr"><br></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>Our Offer:</strong></p><p dir="ltr">If you’re excited to join a group that develops some of the most-loved content on the internet and brings smiles to millions of children across the globe; whilst working alongside a highly skilled and fun-loving team; passionate about all things YouTube and gaming, then what are you waiting for?
