About The Role
In this diverse role, no day will be the same! You will have the opportunity to work across PEXA Events & Sponsorship portfolio. This predominantly includes working closely with our internal and external stakeholders to manage the delivery of sponsorship entitlements, manage PEXA’s presence at events and conferences and end-to-end management of engaging, PEXA led thought leadership events.
Key Accountabilities
Strategy and Planning
• Conduct comprehensive analysis to evaluate ROI for events and sponsorships, guiding strategic decision-making.
• Maintain meticulous records through event trackers, Jira, and cataloguing sponsorship entitlements, merchandise, and marketing collateral.
• Collaborate closely with the Events & Sponsorship Manager to craft compelling support documents, including reverse briefs and executive pitch decks.
Sponsorship Management
• Seamlessly orchestrate the delivery of sponsorship entitlements across your portfolio, ensuring flawless execution.
• Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering long-term partnerships.
• Develop a deep understanding of internal stakeholder groups' strategic objectives, facilitating events that align with and support their initiatives.
Event Management
• Coordinate PEXA's presence at sponsored events and conferences, ensuring a cohesive and impactful brand experience.
• Spearhead end-to-end management of larger events and PEXA-owned conferences, overseeing every aspect from conception to execution.
• Adeptly manage ad-hoc events as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Marketing and Research
• Collaborate closely with Brand and Marketing teams to uphold brand identity while exploring opportunities to elevate brand presence through events and sponsorships.
• Leverage research and insights from events and engagements to bolster brand awareness, credibility, and position PEXA as a thought leader in the industry.
Skills and Expertise
• Extensive hands-on experience of 5+ years in the dynamic realms of event and sponsorship management, and/or marketing, honing a deep understanding of the industry.
• Formal tertiary education in Events and Sponsorship Management, or Marketing, equipping you with a solid theoretical foundation to complement your practical expertise.
• Exemplary communication prowess, adeptly articulating ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to deftly juggle multiple priorities, leveraging exceptional organisational and time management skills, coupled with a keen eye for detail and a project management mindset.
