We’re gathering interest for a role at WordPress VIP (WPVIP), the enterprise division of Automattic, as we expand our reach into the public sector and highly regulated industries. WPVIP is the world’s leading content management platform, trusted by federal agencies, Meta, The New York Times, Salesforce, and many others.
Our government sector business is rapidly growing, and we’re investing in our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) capabilities. As part of this expansion, we’re looking for an Operations Analyst/Project Manager. This role is ideal for someone skilled at scaling operations by integrating people, technologies, and processes. There’s also potential for the role to grow as you establish steady-state operations.
You’ll work closely with the Director of Compliance to execute our Compliance Roadmap, focusing on project management and process design, implementation, and improvement. You’ll be instrumental in establishing and optimizing steady-state operations, and will collaborate with teams across HR, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Business Development.
The ideal candidate has deep operational experience in defining and implementing complex processes, establishing process metrics, and driving process improvements. You should also have project management experience, be technologically savvy, and thrive in a tech-centered environment.
If you’re interested in joining our team, use the form below to tell us more about yourself and your interests. Thanks!
About Automattic:
We are the people behind WordPress.com, WooCommerce, Tumblr, Simplenote, Jetpack, Longreads, Day One, PocketCasts, and more. We believe in making the web a better place.
We’re a distributed company with 1900 Automatticians in 92 countries speaking 120 different languages. We democratize publishing and commerce so anyone with a story can tell it, and anyone with a product can sell it, regardless of income, gender, politics, language, or country.
We believe in Open Source and the vast majority of our work is available under the GPL.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Automattic:
We’re improving diversity, equity, and inclusion in the tech industry. At Automattic, we want people to love their work and show respect and empathy to all. We welcome differences and strive to increase participation from traditionally underrepresented groups. Our DEI committee involves Automatticians across the company and drives grassroots change. For example, this group has helped facilitate private online spaces for affiliated Automatticians to gather and helps run a monthly DEI People Lab series for further learning. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is a priority at Automattic, though our dedication influences far more than just Automatticians: We make our products freely available and translate our products into and offer customer support in numerous languages. We require unconscious bias training for our hiring teams and ensure that our products are accessible across different bandwidths and devices.
Automattic is a Most Loved Company and Disability Confident Committed. (Here’s what that might mean for you.) Learn more about our dedication to diversity, equity, and inclusion and our Employee Resource Groups.
