We are looking for a FORKLIFT OPERATOR to join our Sealy, TX plant. As a forklift operator with Contech you will contribute to America’s essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management. You will work in a team environment with an opportunity to advance quickly in your career with Contech.

About the Role
Responsibilities:
- Complete pre- and post-shift daily audits and maintain the forklift’s daily safety checklist.
- Operates forklift to build loads, empty departments of finished product and move product to specified locations and complete paperwork for each load.
- Assist customers with their orders..
- Assist with material handling to ensure raw materials and finished goods are stored in the proper location.
- Prepare lumber for dunnage use, operate saws and nail guns with precision.
- Regularly fuel and maintain forklift and ensure it is parked in designated areas at the end of each day.
- Record and turn in production records as required.
- Keep yard area in a neat and orderly condition by organizing strapping, boards, stringers, and more.
About You
We Require:
- Prior manufacturing, production, or distribution experience.
- Certification on Forklift Operation preferred.
- Ability to operate forklift in accordance with Contech's Loading/Unloading Guide.
- Adherence to Contech's Employee Expectations
- Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
- Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
