About the team

GBG New Zealand

GBG is New Zealand’s leading Electronic Identity Verification Service provider. Based primarily around the Cloudcheck product, the team consists of Sales, Account Management, Product Management and Development.

The Role

This role will report to the Senior Product Manager based in Australia.

The Product Manager is the expert in the Cloudcheck product, the go-to person for everyone across GBG. They are responsible for the design, growth and market positioning of Cloudcheck to ensure that it remains as the go-to Electronic ID Verification product in the NZ market and grows its revenue globally. The role will also be responsible for the GTM strategy and positioning for other complementary GBG products in the NZ region.

What you will do

Cloudcheck Product Design & Ownership

• Identify Product enhancements
• Prioritise development activities
• Provide business analysis and write requirements for product enhancements
• Testing of new features and bug fixes
• Maintain test databases

Product Management

• Market positioning of GBG identity products
• Communicate product enhancements to the client base
• Identify new products and services that can be integrated with Cloudcheck
• Rollout new Cloudcheck related products and services
• Work with Legal and Compliance on DPIA’s and contract template
• Help facilitate product training
• Work with internal stakeholders on setting standard retail and wholesale pricing, and maintain price book

Data Vendors

• Identify key data vendors to work with
• Maintain NZ specific data vendor relationships to achieve strategic partnerships and best price

Marketing & Collateral

Work with Marketing to:

• Design physical collateral
• Ensure SEO is optimised
• Website is up to date

Management of physical collateral

Support

• Support Sales Team by consulting on solutions for their prospects
• Update internal presentations with latest Cloudcheck enhancements and news
• Maintain test databases

Requirements

What we're looking for

Essential

• Experience with SaaS solution product management
• Technically proficient
• Well spoken & well presented
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Legally entitled to work in New Zealand with no restrictions

Desired

• Experience with the Anti-Money Laundering legislation
