Commonwealth Fusion Systems (CFS) has the fastest, lowest cost path to commercial fusion energy.

As a member of the CFS Supply Chain Team you will be responsible for assisting in meeting company objectives through loading, unloading CFS trucks and driving to locations within the approved radius. You will be responsible for ensuring orderly distribution of inventory and other material to CFS locations and partners.
This team member will:
- Driving different size trucks (pick up, box truck up to 26’) < 26,000 lbs of cargo at a time
- Load and unload, and transport heavy crates and materials to requested locations (mostly within state and New England states
- Ensure accuracy of the cargo by verifying counts in pickup and delivery
- Develop an efficient route based on the needs of the requester as well as agreed service levels to other sites and locations
- Ensure the truck maintenance and repairs are done in a timely manner
- Assist moving crates within the CFS locations and building throughout the drop off / pick up process
- Inspect for damage when picking up cargo and report as necessary
- Maintain records of the shipments as necessary
- Collaborate with other teams to coordinate material deliveries and placements
- Obey and enforce CFS Safety guidelines and policies on the loading dock and in the warehouse; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors while maintaining a clean work environment
The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:
- 6+ Years of driving commercial experience (CDL not required)
- High school diploma
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Inventory & warehousing operational knowledge
Additional preferred experience and/or qualifications:
- Experience in a start-up or high growth environment
- Manufacturing/shop floor environment experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Perform activities such as stooping, standing, sitting, or driving for extended periods of time
- Dedication to safety to mitigate industrial hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics
- Willingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally
