The Behavioral Health Solutions Center provides crisis stabilization services to persons having interactions with the City of Denver’s first responders out in the community. The first floor will be made up of two components: A drop off crisis triage and a 16-bed crisis stabilization center. The third floor consists of a transitional shelter, providing an opportunity for individuals to continue focusing on their wellbeing while not having to worry about meeting their basic needs, with a goal of connecting to longer term resources.
POSITION SUMMARY— The Program Manager of the Transitional Shelter oversees the day-to-day operations, strategic goals of the program, and provides clinical and administrative supervision to a multi-disciplinary team to ensure efficient team operations. This position will coordinate team functions and coordinate with community partners to enhance the quality of treatment received. This position must operate within established budgetary guidelines.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
EDUCATION: LCSW, LPC required, Masters + LAC preferred. Colorado licensure must be valid and in good standing.
EXPERIENCE: One to two years in mental health or human services field; 2+ years supervisory experience required. Trauma informed treatment, addiction treatment and sound clinical ability.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical and Administrative staff.
MACHINES AND EQUIPMENT TO BE USED: Computers, calculators, fax machines, copiers, telephone and a variety of other office/clerical equipment.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May require lifting up to 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office machines such as computers, fax machines, the telephone and other office and/or clinical equipment.
WORKING CONDITIONS: May require occasional evening or weekend hours.
