Position Overview:
As the Director, Accounts and Finance for our COE operations, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success and strategic growth of our business in the region. You will be responsible for overseeing all accounting, finance, and tax functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing valuable financial insights to support decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:
· Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and budgets for the COE region.
· Conduct financial analysis and reporting to track performance against key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
· Prepare financial forecasts and projections to support strategic decision-making.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
· Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards and manage the financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
Accounting and Compliance:
· Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP/IGAAP
· Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
· Manage audits and tax filings
Risk Management:
· Identify and mitigate financial risks, including credit risk, foreign exchange risk, and operational risk.
· Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Strategic Partnerships:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with local banks, financial institutions, and government agencies.
· Negotiate favourable terms for loans, financing, and other financial transactions.
Stakeholder Communication:
· Serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, stakeholders from Global Finance team and Key Leadership Team
· Prepare and present financial information and strategic recommendations to the executive team
Global Operations:
· Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Lead and manage the global accounting team, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure optimal performance.
· Drive initiatives to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
Requirements:
· CA with Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques
· Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
· Proven track record of managing financial operations in a complex, multinational environment
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
