About the role: 

As a web producer / project manager for Skydio you’ll play a pivotal role, moving web projects large and small from inception to completion. Your deep understanding of web production and well-honed skills in aligning creators and stakeholders, communicating like a pro, refining process, and managing every detail are critical. An interest in monitoring performance is a welcome plus.  

Please note: This is a part-time contract position requiring ~25 hours/week, including 2 days per week working out of our headquarters in San Mateo, California. 

How you’ll make an impact:

  • You’ll collaborate with many members of the marketing team (and occasionally colleagues outside of marketing) to facilitate the delivery of a variety of web projects ranging from simple updates (which you can enter into the CMS yourself) to creating new pages and functionality for the website (which may involve many contributors and stakeholders)
  • You’ll review requests and input briefs for clarity and completeness, align on scope, resources and timelines with creative and dev teams, manage milestone meetings with stakeholders, communicate change in priorities/plans when necessary, troubleshoot issues and remove blockers, flag risks, gain all necessary approvals, manage our ready-to-publish checklist, and other tasks to ensure accurate, complete, and on-time deliverables.
  • You’ll help us refine our processes to manage work most efficiently, maximize the quality and marketing performance of our website, and enable us to manage longer-term more complex projects while supporting day-to-day needs. 

What makes you a good fit:

You are an experienced web producer with a deep understanding of web and digital marketing, excellent communication and project management skills, an innate drive to honor commitments and build collaborative relationships, and a demonstrated ability to get things done. 

  • 4-6 years of experience in web production, ideally for B2B marketing websites
  • Knowledge of and ongoing interest in SEO, analytics, testing methodologies, translation and localization, website best practices. 
  • Strong time management and organizational skills. Attention to detail is absolutely critical.
  • Intermediate-level experience working in a modern content management system.
    (We use Sanity with Astro.)
  • Understanding of process and workflow methodologies. Experience with project management tools. (We use monday.com)
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously,  stay calm under pressure, and proactively problem solve as you manage a mix of large and small projects, often with overlapping importance and urgency.
  • Capable of successfully navigating ambiguity in a quickly changing, fast-paced environment. 
  • Proven ability to drive tight inter-team coordination and communication, keeping everyone focused on what's important while unifying stakeholders with different priorities or objectives.
  • Understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Workspace
    (Sheets, Slides, and Docs). 
  • Ability to actively engage in the release process, supporting QA pre and post release.


Compensation Range: The hourly base compensation range for this position is $40- $65/hour*. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience.
*For some positions the pay may be dependent upon the individual's regional location.
