We are looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative individual to join our Retail Team as a Visual Coordinator.
THE DETAILS:
You’ll be joining our Griffintown team at 1155 Rue Wellington Montréal, in a full time capacity
• As Visual Coordinator you’ll put your creative skills to work as you develop floor plans and set up creative, eye-catching visual displays aimed at driving sales and leading the customer through the store
• You’ll coordinate with the Store Manager to support retail staff and execute events such as store openings, projects, markdowns, and promotions
• You’ll partner with the Assistant Store Manager to oversee sales floor maintenance and ensure all rooms are up to visual standards
• Support store openings and projects, facilitates markdowns, and executes promo signage with proper timing
• You’ll communicate with the Regional Visual Coordinator to suggest ideas and adjustments needed for the store front
• You’ll be in charge of maintaining point of purchase materials and ensuring that all materials are up to date
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
• Two (2) years of experience in visual merchandising. Experience working with window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilization is an asset. A combination of education and experience may be considered
• A degree/diploma in graphic design, fine art, spatial design, business, or retail management is an asset
• Proficiency in retail operations and systems (Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, In Design) is preferred
• A creative brain with an eye for detail, color, and appealing design. You can conceptualize and implement an imaginative visual marketing strategy
• The ability to self-motivate, with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills. You’re able to meet targets while actively seeking ways to improve quality and performance
• Knowledge of the retail furniture industry, with an understanding of current trends and marketplace potential
• Experience in interpreting sales and category business reporting
