Unreal Engineer

We’re a virtual reality (VR) game development studio that’s creating the next generation of online social gaming. Our exclusive partnership with PokerStars (the world’s largest poker site) has propelled our debut game (PokerStars VR) to becoming one of the most popular multiplayer games in VR.

Role

We are looking for an exceptional Unreal Engineer to join our team. You will have the opportunity to work on a cutting edge project where visual fidelity and quality of interaction are keys to success. You will be creating tools and processes to help us move from a successful prototype to a commercial product.. If you have a track record of delivering high quality real time visuals and the experience with the quality expectations from AAA gaming studios, we want to meet you.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, implement and maintain codebase on Unreal Engine.
• Work autonomously, solving technical design and development problems
• Mentor junior software engineers
• Collaborate with teams to build great new technology for our players

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience with Asset management
• Strong knowledge of Unreal, ideally Unreal 5
• Very strong C++ coding skills
• Top notch math and logical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous development environments
• A constant desire to learn, improve, and help others improve
• Ability to onboard and work remotely

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with AWS/similar web services
• Experience working on backend services for social networks
• Experience with Unity
• Experience with AI or Machine Learning
