Job Description
Andersen Bakery in Great Mall, Milpitas is looking for a full time baker to join our team. Our baker should be a team player that demonstrates leadership, has a sense of urgency, pays close attention to detail, and is able to adapt to production needs of the store.
SCHEDULE: 6am-2:30pm during weekends and 7am-3:30pm during weekdays.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Shaping, molding, and baking our Danish breads and pastries within quality standards.
-Assisting Store Management with preparations and displaying of baked breads in the store including pastry decoration.
-Assist Store Management with conducting physical inventory of our frozen dough to maintain control of stock level.
-Maintaining cleanliness of production area, clean racks, baking pans, canvas, refrigerator, and molder.
-Report immediately to supervisors of any defects.
-Follow safety rules and proper maintenance to prevent accidents.
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY, however...
-Must be 18 years or older
-Have a basic understanding of retail work flow
-Possess a great work ethic and team player attitude
-Be a self-starter with minimum supervision
-Strong desire to learn and able to receive constructive feedback
-Must have a flexible work schedule and ability to work weekends
-Bilingual is a plus
