<title>About the role</title>

We are looking for a Public Policy Manager to join a CEE Public Policy team. You will be a point of contact for local teams, protecting business investments working on legislation, regulation and stakeholder engagement at a national and local level, in close coordination with global business and policy teams. 

You will be representing Bolt in front of local, regional, and national authorities in the region. You will support Bolt’s presence in the region, which will include designing, executing and owning in-market engagement plans with cities, policy campaigns and stakeholders relationship-building strategies. You will closely cooperate with the business and product teams in the management and mitigation of regulatory risks. You will draft and update position papers, research study materials and foundation documents.

<title>Main Tasks and Responsibilities:</title>

  • <point>Working with CEE Public Policy team in the mitigation of political, regulatory and legislative dynamics</point>
  • <point>Managing and mitigating of political, regulatory and legislative risk</point>
  • <point>Design and execution of public affairs strategy within the assigned area</point>
  • <point>Ownership of relationship with the authorities within the designated areas</point>
  • <point>Maintenance of relationships with 3rd party groups including NGOs, civil society groups, passenger, commuter and safety organizations</point>
  • <point>Participating in cross functional cooperation with other internal teams (e.g. operations, public relations, marketing, legal) as well as the external public affairs agency</point>

<title>About you:</title>

  • <point>You have at least 5 years of professional experience in a public affairs/ public policy capacity</point>
  • <point>You have experience of developing and executing sophisticated public policy, regulatory and corporate communications campaigns</point>
  • <point>You have experience working with local and  central level governmental officials and policy-makers</point>
  • <point>You have excellent communication in Polish & English (written and spoken) and other languages such as Czech, Slovak or Hungarian are an advantage</point>
  • <point>You have a willingness to travel around the region  to meet with local councils and officials</point>
