Within Australia & New Zealand, Beam has shared e-scooter and e-bike operations across New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, Tasmania, and in Auckland, Wellington, Whangarei, Whanganui and Palmerston North.

What you’ll be doing:

• Drive forward Beam’s operations across multiple operational verticals, including charging infrastructure, fleet management, and warehouse / supply chain management
• Set strategic direction for how to grow Beam’s operations in a healthy manner
• Identify key operational metrics and manage a tight ship
• Innovate constantly on existing processes and products
• Manage team of Operations Specialists and Marshals to support the operations
• Cultivate and mentor your team for optimal performance
• Collaborate cross functionally (strategy, marketing, policy) to ensure smooth business operations
• Analyse and implement workflows and processes
• Review procedures and address any deviations from the standards

Requirements

• Experience in transport / logistics is not necessary, but willingness to learn and get into the weeds of the business is critical
• Bachelor's degree
• At least 3 years experience in management consulting, finance, or fast growing startup
• Experience with people management
• Passion for solving problems and delivering a great customer experience
• Highly analytical and creative problem solver, product driven mindset
• Self starter - you’ll get broad exposure to all aspects of the business and this is a great position to fast track your startup career
• Strong Excel skills / SQL knowledge a bonus

Location: Auckland

Reporting to: Operations Manager / Head of Operations

Salary: NZD 66,500 - NZD 80,000 per annum

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
