About the Opportunity

The Contract Renewals Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of contract renewals. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-centric approach to ensure high renewal rates, reduction in costs and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have experience in contract management. This is a remote position open to applicants based in Canada.

Job Duties

  • Contract Management: Manage the contract renewal process for existing SaaS suppliers, ensuring timely and accurate renewals.
  • Supplier Engagement: Proactively engage with suppliers to discuss contract terms, usage, and value, addressing any concerns or objections.
  • Negotiation: Negotiate contract terms and pricing with suppliers to ensure mutual satisfaction and alignment with company policies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal business partners to ensure a seamless renewal process.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of contract renewals, customer interactions, and renewal forecasts. Provide regular reports to management on renewal status and performance and keep accurate financial records.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve the contract renewal process, leveraging feedback and industry best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Legal, Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a contract renewals, customer success, or sales operations role, preferably in the SaaS or technology industry.

Skills:

  • Ability to manage the contract process from beginning to end.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide insights.

The base salary range for this position is $76,000 to $89,400. Range shown in $CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
