Summary: As the Global Senior Creative Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and expanding the Founder's vision, ensuring the creative implementation of the brand across all platforms through a comprehensive 360-degree approach. The role will involve articulating and amplifying the Founder's creative direction within the Creative department, ensuring that all brand content reflects the brand's vision and purpose with consistency and excellence. You will collaborate closely with various departments to effectively communicate the brand’s story through compelling and high-quality visuals.
Familiarity with a fast-paced environment and eagerness to collaborate with an in-house production team to create content for both traditional and digital platforms is essential. You should have experience managing projects from concept to final delivery.
In this role, you'll lead and inspire a close-knit team, manage requests from the Global Marketing team, and coordinate with a network of freelancers and supporting agencies. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you will need to negotiate effectively with multiple suppliers and handle several projects and deadlines simultaneously.
We are looking for a highly creative, hyper-collaborative team player who can lead a team of creatives to elevate creative thinking and ideas with excellent execution.
Requirements
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and articulate the creative vision: Ensure alignment with the brand’s objectives and values across various touchpoints. This includes refreshing brand elements, launching products, producing campaign videos, photo shoots, and social content that reflects the Founder’s vision.
- Conceptualize and develop comprehensive 360-degree ideas for launches: Ensure a cohesive and impactful brand image across all channels. Oversee the entire creative process from concept to completion, ensuring each project is dynamic, unique, and delivered on time.
- Craft and refine creative messaging: Develop campaign content that resonates with target audiences and enhances brand storytelling.
- Maintain consistent brand voice and visual style: Ensure all creative outputs consistently reflect the vision across all platforms and mediums.
- Facilitate and lead brainstorming sessions: Foster a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation with the creative and wider marketing teams, always keeping the vision at the forefront.
- Oversee the creation of engaging content: Ensure it is visually appealing, matches creative briefs, and aligns with brand standards.
- Lead and direct talent on shoots: Ensuring the creative vision is effectively communicated and executed.
- Lead and inspire a team of creative professionals: Set new standards with creative decks and presentations. Collaborate with other departments including production, brand marketing, and design.
- Review and approve all creative materials before final production: Ensure they meet the company’s standards and objectives.
- Serve as the primary creative liaison for internal stakeholders: Present ideas, concepts, and final deliverables with confidence and clarity.
- Mentor and develop the creative team: Provide guidance and opportunities for professional growth, ensuring the team is aligned with and inspired by the Founder’s vision.
- Optimize organizational processes: Evaluate and improve the creative processes within the organization to ensure seamless integration and collaboration with other departments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with other departments to develop and streamline processes that support cohesive and aligned creative efforts in line with the brand’s objectives.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably within an agency or brand in the beauty industry, plus experience working with a Founder.
- Creative Skills: Exceptional creative vision and a strong portfolio showcasing a 360 approach to a range of multimedia projects, including video, digital, and print.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead and inspire creative teams, with excellent people management skills and efficiency collaborating with other departments.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategies to various stakeholders.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in creative software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and other industry-standard tools.
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all creative work is of the highest quality.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
