What we’re looking for…

To provide confidential administrative support to the Group Sustainability and Risk Director in the areas of risk management, environmental sustainability, internal audit, business continuity and pensions.

This role is also a personal assistant to the Group Sustainability and Risk Director.

Your responsibilities will include...

As a Group Sustainability and Risk Executive your responsibilities will include;

• Provide confidential administrative support to the Group Sustainability and Risk Director.
• Work with the Group Sustainability and Risk Director to organise and manage risk and sustainability related meetings, including the Board’s ESG Committee meetings, No Time To Waste meetings and Risk Committee meetings.
• Compilation of sustainability regulatory compliance and reports.
• Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sustainability goals, identifying emerging trends and drawing insights from trends to inform action plans.
• Data collection, summarising and input into sustainability questionnaires.
• Development of effective internal and external risk and sustainability related communications.
• Assist with the management of the Group’s internal audit and business continuity programmes.
• Assist with the preparation of the annual report and accounts, with responsibility for elements of content creation
• Assist with the administration of the A.G. BARR p.l.c. (2008) Pension and LIfe Assurance Scheme and the A.G. Barr Pension and Life Assurance Governance Committee.

• Liaise with external advisers, ratings agencies and regulatory bodies, as required.

What you’ll bring...

The successful candidate will have:

• National / professional qualification (preferably to degree level) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Risk Management or a related field.
• Ideally some prior experience in environmental sustainability, risk management, or related field.
• Ability to conduct research and summarise findings effectively.
• Ability to draw insights from data and make recommendations to inform action plans.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and sustainability assessment frameworks is a plus.
• Proficiency in Google docs, sheets and slides.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
