About the Job:

The Scrum Master and Technical Program Manager (Customer Data & Analytics & Customer Middleware) coordinates team workflow, monitors velocity, and manages risks for the team. This role includes supporting cross-functional forums and ensuring appropriate visibly to roadblocks. Taco Bell’s Digital innovation teams (squads) will embark on the process of agile testing and learn to quickly capture value from high-impact, high-feasibility efforts, using insights from customer analytics to determine how to create engaging experiences and offers across the customer lifecycle. 

The Scrum Master and Technical Program Manager (Customer Data & Analytics & Customer Middleware) will report to the Director, Digital Commerce Program Management.

The Day-to-Day:

  • Maintain a program-level plan/roadmap representing all committed work within the platform portfolio. This plan depicts the sequencing of work across platform teams, aligned to available engineering capacity, to ensure on-time, on budget, at quality delivery
  • Drive collaboration processes and tools for effective prioritization and delivery of committed work
  • Implement mechanisms for continuous improvement, fostering experimentation and innovation to enhance processes, tools, and delivery methodologies
  • Support CDA and Customer Middleware teams by facilitating team meetings to effectively prioritize work. Proactively identify and address risks and issues, implement mitigation strategies, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding delivery plans and potential risks
  • Facilitate ongoing intake triage, prioritization, handoffs, and tradeoffs between technical platform teams
  • Foster a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised by being accountable & transparent. If needed, willing to call out possible issues or unknown possible blockers
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the understanding of Agile concepts, principles, and practices
  • Collaborate with other Agile practitioners to share best practices, address challenges, and promote a unified approach to Agile implementation across teams

Is This You?

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years' experience in technical program management leading multiple agile teams simultaneously using scrum and other agile methodologies 
  • Certification in one or more Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Lean) is a plus
  • Comfort with technical jargon and familiarity with infrastructure, database, digital products & platforms
  • Proficient in using Jira Software, Confluence, or Monday.com for managing Agile projects
  • Strong project and program management skills
  • Excellent communication, capable of conveying information clearly and promptly with technical and non-technical teams
  • Fosters collaboration among teams, partners, and stakeholders to ensure the platform's holistic success and has a fail-fast mentality of testing & learning
  • Detail-oriented, pushes to understand detail to assess dependencies / risks / blockers

Salary Range: ­­$115,100-$163,790 annually + bonus eligibility + benefits
