Title: Director, Strategic Initiatives - Verified User
Department: Strategy
Reports To: Chief Business Officer

Job Summary
This role will be a key member of the Prove strategy organization, which provides strategic capabilities, thought leadership, innovation, and product and industry strategy in the areas of identity management, authentication, fraud prevention and detection, and commerce enablement for Prove.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a multi-year roadmap with input from internal and external stakeholders
- Consolidate and synthesize learnings and key recommendations from industry/analysts/vendors/consultants into senior management, board, or client strategic presentations
- Collaborate with capability leaders to develop integrated 3 to 5 year strategy.
- Assess strategic gaps and make recommendations for addressing those gaps.
- Coordinate roles and responsibilities to properly execute large scale projects or integrations related to those strategies.
- Promote, maintain and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership.
- Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.
Qualifications and Experience:
- 10+ years of strategic planning experience
- A BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative discipline
- Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames
- Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
- Ability to present to multiple levels of management and provide strategic vision for an organization
- Ability to synthesize data to form a story and align information to contrast or compare to industry perspective and historical business trends
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
- Ability to think strategically, implement, and deliver business objectives
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities
- Knowledge and understanding of strategic roadmap coordination and development
- Outstanding problem solving and decision-making skills
- Strong strategic and conceptual thinking skills
- Experience articulating a complex problem, design, or build strategy
- Strategic planning experience in translating leadership vision into executable strategies and initiatives
- Ability to analyze trends in the competitive marketplace and related marketing developments
- Experience with strategy development and implementation
- Knowledge and understanding of authentication and identity verification (phone, digital, in person) with emphasis on customer strategies preferred
- Experience in cybersecurity, fintech, or fast-growing startup is required
- Experience in a high-growth tech startup growing from $50m to $200m in ARR

The anticipated salary range for this role is $175,000 - $195,000 plus company bonus. Offered salary will be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, geo-location and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
