THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a bilingual Email Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a Valatam team member, you will play a crucial role in orchestrating email marketing efforts in a dynamic, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment. This role requires a hands-on operator of marketing platforms and capabilities, with a focus on email campaigns and database management. This role also requires attention to detail, strategic thinking, a deep understanding of customer-centered practices, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. 

You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following:

  • Reviewing our former campaigns to ascertain areas of strength and weakness, which could inform subsequent outputs.
  • Creating and monitoring Valatam's email marketing campaigns.
  • Build effective target audiences and segments for every message to drive engagement and revenue performance against KPI goals.
  • Creating, proofreading, and setting up email templates for various email marketing platforms.
  • Executing A/B tests, manage testing calendar, record results, and advise on improvements
  • Compiling, updating, and keeping track of email lists and databases.
  • Following up on emails and redirecting them to the appropriate departments.
  • Tracking and analyzing campaign results.
  • Gathering analytics and develop monthly reports.
  • Working with the marketing team to develop and optimize email marketing strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Connecting with the Marketing team on regular brainstorms to discuss ideas, projects, and updates.
  • Collaborating with graphic designers to improve the appearance layout of outputs.

Our projects could include only some of the functions listed, as well as additional ones not listed here.

Requirements

  • C1/C2 English and Spanish writing and speaking skills.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Email Marketing, preferably remote.
  • Proven experience creating high-impact, unique marketing campaigns using marketing automation platforms
  • Graduated (or soon to graduate) with a college degree.
  • Able to work a Monday-Friday 9 am-6 pm schedule in US time zones.
  • Proficient with Google Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A quiet home office with a desk and office chair.
  • Stable internet with at least 10 MBPS download & 2 MBPS upload speed.
  • A laptop/desktop with 8GB RAM, a 1.6GHz processor, and 50GB of free hard-drive space, a headset, and a smartphone.
  • Access to a quiet "home office".
  • Access to a backup place of work in case they suffer a power cut or internet failure, as well as a secondary backup internet option (mobile hotspot, Multibam, WiPod, etc.)
