The Lead Events Planner drives the planning and execution of a range of Aledade team events, to include Market Summits, Aledade All Staff retreat and other team and customer facing events across the country. The role partners across internal stakeholders and external vendors, managing competing priorities.
This position is located in our Bethesda, Maryland headquarters and offers a hybrid work environment (working in-office and remotely a few days a week). Candidates must live in Bethesda or its surrounding areas to be considered.
Primary Duties
- Developing the strategy and driving the planning of various Aledade events throughout the year including Market Summits, All Staff Retreats, networking and milestone events, team retreats and trainings, user events for our customers, and more.
- Developing and executing against project plans, convening key stakeholders, and leading communication with business partners, and stakeholders.
- Establishing recommendations and SOPs to improve the operational efficiency and scalability of the Event Program as Aledade grows.
- Leading a range of workstreams to ensure events run smoothly, such as setting up registration processes, designing name badges, selecting and ordering swag items, setting up and breaking down pre and post event, and much more.
- Additional project-based work as assigned that will allow for exposure to different parts of the company and contribute toward Aledade's mission.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
- 8+ years of direct experience supporting events in a fast paced corporate or nonprofit setting
- Available to work across various time zones and/or non-traditional working hours on occasion, as needed
- Based in Bethesda area; able to work in-office in a hybrid capacity from Aledade’s downtown Bethesda office
- Able to travel up to 50% during busy season for corporate events

- Ability to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data, prepare financial reports, and manage events budgets
- A collaborative team player with a roll-up your sleeves mentality
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work out of Aledade’s downtown Bethesda office and travel to plan and attend corporate events in person as needed (up to 50%)
- Working non-traditional hours as needed for events
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
