About Us

Jitera, inc. is a startup company from Japan that makes software to automate the development of mobile and web applications. Our product can be called as No-Code, Low-Code, and code generator. By using our product, customers can develop software 10 times faster.

It’s under development with a lot of tries and errors, but the number of applications developed with our product is increasing, and in fact, there is a case that a mobile application was developed about 10 times faster than usual.

As the characteristics of our company, we are a team of professionals working remotely, and we have a track record of significant growth over the past year in terms of revenue, product development, and team members.

Job Overview

Our business is growing steadily, so we are expanding engineer teams to further grow Jitera's automation product (No-Code, Low-Code, and code generator). As the number of talented engineers grows, so does the need for PO who can do great work with them.

There are huge demands and lots of technical challenges in our development, so lots of skilled and talented professionals are contributing to the product in the professional remote team from all over the world.

Duties and Responsibilities

In this position, you’re expected to be responsible for Low-Code product especially around frontend features.

  • Maximize the ROI of the development team
    • Plan product strategy and roadmap execute
    • Create issues and maintain product backlog with the team
    • Sync with stakeholders including board members, marketers and designers
    • Plan and execute to improve UI/UX based on quantitative/quantitative data
    • Lead scrum events; sprint planning, refinement meeting, retrospective, and so on.
    • Review new functions made by engineers
    • Manage the product quality with QA and engineers
  • Do market research and find issues to overcome
    • Deeply understand our business model and outsourcing business domain
    • Interview the clients and stakeholders
    • Research competitors

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • More than 2 years experience of product owner
  • More than 4 years experience of frontend engineer
  • Business level English skills (speaking / listening/ writing/ reading).
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Communication skills
    • to own the loop between product, engineers, operations, policy, and sales.
    • to work cooperatively in a remote team.
  • Ability to prepare remote work environment where you can focus on your work with stable network place.

Desirable Experiences

  • Experience to design KPI of the product and improve benchmarks
  • Experience of UI/UX design
  • 2+ years in people management
  • Experience to work at remote company
  • Experience to utilize No-Code and Low-Code products
  • Multi-cultural background and start-up environment

  • Project management: Github, Zenhub
  • Documentation: Notion, Google Workspace, Miro
  • Communication: Slack, Gather, DailyBot
  • Backend: Ruby, Ruby on Rails, GraphQL
  • Frontend: TypeScript, React, React Native, Styled Components, Apollo Client
  • Database: MySQL, MongoDB, Redis
  • Infrastructure: AWS, GCP, Docker, Terraform, HashiCorp Vault
  • CI/CD: Github Actions, AWS CodePipeline

Work Styles

  • Full remote. You can work from all over the world. Of course, you can also work from your home.
  • Full flextime system. You can work anytime in your timezone, but you need to attend regular team and company meetings.
  • Can work part-time during the probation if you recently have a full-time job.
