Partner Solutions Engineer

Our Opportunity

The Partner Solutions Engineer collaborates closely with our Business Development team to cultivate strong relationships with key ecosystem partners. This role involves understanding the tech stacks and narratives of each partner, and creating reference architectures and enablement materials for sellers and marketing teams on both sides. 

The Partner Solutions Engineer is expected to develop expertise for a subset of key partners and actively contribute to the construction of reference architectures, marketecture, and enablement documents. Collaboration with product and engineering teams, both internally and externally, is essential.

You’ll Spend Your Time:

• Collaborating closely with business development counterparts to establish relationships with marketing, product, and engineering leadership within partner organizations.
• Ensuring close collaboration with product and engineering leadership.
• Providing technical guidance and ideation related to DevOps, contributing to defining how Snyk’s product can complement partners' ecosystems strategically and at the solution level.
• Fostering and maintaining relationships with technical and development teams within customer and partner organizations.
• Actively contributing to the development of reference architectures and decks that capture narratives and provide value propositions for partnerships.
• Communicating with various personas at different levels, from executive stakeholders to technical engineers and product managers.
• Participating in showcasing the company's products and services to partners through live demonstrations, webinar sessions, conferences, and trade shows.
• Assisting Snyk alliance partner marketing stakeholders in developing value proposition messaging for sales enablement and training.
• Supporting Snyk and partner field teams in enterprise opportunities across various geographies when needed.

What You’ll Need:

• 3 or more years of experience in solutions engineering, sales engineering, or a similar role in the cloud-native and/or DevOps space.
• Experience assisting partners/customers in developing and deploying API solutions.
• Ability to understand and document existing customer workflows, identify transformation opportunities, and contribute to the adoption of new workflows.
• Understanding of the DevOps ecosystem and tools and/or the cloud-native vendor landscape.
• Eagerness to learn about new technology and a curious mindset about how things work under the hood.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and in presenting ideas on video calls.
• Comfortable engaging with both business executives and technical engineers and product stakeholders.
• Organizational skills with the ability to contribute to impactful presentation materials.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, engaged startup environment.
• Team-oriented mindset.
