The Role
This role will be responsible for driving Blinq’s growth strategy and operational execution to scale the business efficiently. The Senior Manager, Strategy & Operations is part of the growth leadership team and is critical in aligning the company’s product-led strategy with the growth strategy, ensuring that key decisions are data-driven and customer-centric. You will work closely with product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to optimise the go-to-market and drive user and revenue growth.
This is a hybrid role working from our Melbourne or Sydney locations.
What you will do:
Growth Strategy:
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies (incl. product, channel, pricing) that drive user acquisition, expansion, and retention.
- Identify growth opportunities and implement initiatives in partnership with product, sales and marketing teams.
- Conduct market and competitive research to inform our growth strategy.
Incubation:
- Design and oversee pilot programs to test new ideas leading the execution of new pilots from ideation to commercialisation.
- Develop the go-to-market strategies for successfully incubated products and manage the transition from pilot phase to full-scale operations.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the implementation of operational processes that support the Growth model, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
- Identify and address operational bottlenecks, optimising processes to enhance user experience and business outcomes.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilise data analytics to track key metrics such as user acquisition, activation, retention, and revenue growth.
- Develop and monitor KPIs that align with the Growth strategy, providing insights to guide strategic decisions.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to executive leadership, highlighting opportunities for growth and improvement.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Build and lead a high-performing Strategy & Operations team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and data-driven decision-making within the team.
- Manage team performance, provide regular feedback, and support professional development.
What we look for in you:
- 7+ years of experience in growth, strategy, or business operations within a SaaS or technology-driven environment, with at least 2 years in a people management role.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing growth strategies in a SaaS environment.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex, data-driven projects.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex data sets.
- Strong leadership skills, along with an optimistic, energetic, and persistent approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
