The Role
We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our rapidly growing Fraud and Financial Crime team. The Sales Executive works with Bottomline’s banking and financial institution customers and will be responsible for growing relationships and identifying new opportunities by working with C-level executives and other stakeholders within the organization. This person will coordinate and lead all sales activities to achieve business goals as well as achieving the annual sales quota. **This is a critical role to our organization where the right person can make an immediate impact.
How you’ll contribute
- Works with the head of Sales to deliver results against revenue and growth targets.
- Creates and manages target call lists and executes on prospecting KPIs.
- Operates as the lead point of contact for any matters specific to your customers throughout the sales cycle, including onsite and remote presentations.
- Maintains sales operational requirements including documentation in SF.com and internal communications to senior management and other teams in accordance with best practices.
- Forecasts and tracks key account metrics.
- Works with implementations and PRM teams to ensure best practices pre and post sales.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- 7+ years’ experience selling Enterprise Software solutions to financial institutions, technology companies, governmental and large corporates.
- High profile sales executive with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven successful ability to sell $1M+ Enterprise software/business solutions.
- Ability to develop relationships with the ‘C’ level business users to sell based on business value.
- Ability to manage a team of Sales Engineers, IT, and Info Sec. Experts throughout the life cycle of a deal, and to understand high level business and technical requirements.
- Experience selling Fraud and Financial Crime to risk executives, BSA/compliance officers, and heads of treasury.
- Advantage with knowledge and experience with cloud based (Azure, GCP and AWS) and SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions.
- Global vision, creativity and an innovative approach required.
