Manager -Pricing
Roles and Responsibilities
- Working on pricing & promotional offers on a daily basis and ensuring topline and bottom line targets are met
- Co-ordination with internal customers & other stakeholders for daily pricing operations
- Analyzing platform level metrics to isolate problems/strength areas to solve/leverage for better ROI
- Sales Forecasting & Trend Analysis
- Develop & innovate strong analysis and trends which would shape new dimensions of pricing
- Managing high revenue days collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop & implement strong reporting formats which give a 360 degree view of the health of the portfolio
- An ideal candidate should possess sound analytical abilities, strong cross-functional collaboration and business acumen
Responsibilities:
- Monitor key metrics such as revenue per unit, gross margin, conversion, average order value, customer acquisitions, etc.
- Work with the analytics team to measure the effectiveness of campaigns to evaluate and improve future performance
- Liaison with finance team to ensure accuracy of P&L reporting for the portfolio
- Reconciliation of discounts with brand associates for funding of sale day properties
- Monitor discounting/pricing for key brands on other portals to ensure parity; pre-empt customer switching
- Influence various teams/stakeholders within the organization to meet goals & project timelines
- Setup the reporting processes for operational streamlining
- Take ownership to drive automation and proactive alerts/mechanism within respective functions
- Working with cross functional teams (brand, sourcing, technology) to drive bigger strategic projects and initiatives
- Conduct analysis for assigned business problem by collecting data from all internal and external sources and perform analysis to get answers to business questions
- Help in putting together business proposal based on trends etc.
- Put together excel models for business scenario analysis
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's in Business Administration- Preferably IIMs/ISB with engineering background (tier-1)
- 2-3 years’ experience in sales operations / planning
- Previous experience in retail & e-commerce added advantage
- Knowledge of BI tools/statistics added advantage
- Strong Analytical Skills and Process Orientation- Proficiency in Excel is must
