Financial Data Analyst
Client: Major Bank
Duration: 3+ Months
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay rate: up to $59.66/hr (w2)
Overtime Rate: $89.49/hr
Corp to Corp: up to $64/hrIncumbent will be responsible for Basel III analysis related to Pillar 3 and FFIEC 101 reporting. Responsibilities include the analysis of variances and the research of reconciling differences. Incumbent will be required to quickly build an in-depth and thorough understanding of variance drivers and be able to quickly gain and utilize knowledge of systems and process flows to ascertain and opine on identified issues. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in the finance/accounting industry strongly preferred Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Required Experience & Qualities: Solid analytical background and skill set with demonstrated experience in: o Reconciliation o Data Tracing o Data Mining Experience with financial and regulatory reporting Experience working with large volumes of data from disparate sources Strong oral and written communication skills Confidence and ability to work with all levels of management Pro-active and goal-oriented strategic thinker Ability to: o Work flexible hours o Work both independently and as part of a team o Multi-task Desirable Experience and Qualities: Banking/financial products o Large corporate financial systems o Working at a large financial institution Exposure to: Basel III o Working with global processes •
