We are looking for a Screening Operations Specialist, Trust Ops to work with Wonolo’s Trust Operations team. You will be employed by a third-party legal entity authorized to do business in the location in which you reside and you will provide contractual services to Wonolo’s <Team Name> team. You will work closely with Wonolo’s Trust Ops, SIT, Customer Ops (Wonoloer & Requestor), Legal, Demand teams to bring innovative experiences to life for Wonolo’s customers (we call them Requestors), both mid-market and enterprise businesses who rely on Wonolo to connect them with front-line workers. You will play an active role in the product development process for our comprehensive line of web and mobile applications our Requestors use to post and manage their jobs, rate and pay workers, and monitor overall performance with Wonolo. In this role, you will help to support our community by implementing both standard and non-standard screening requirements for the entire Wonolo community. The right applicant for this role will be able to think strategically, both long-term and short-term, to develop the most scalable and efficient processes for screening Wonoloers through multiple types of requirements such as custom Motor Vehicle Reports (MVR), Drug Screenings, Immigration Compliance Forms (ICF), Background Checks, and other forms of pre-job screenings that our customers require or need to fit their specific job needs. Working alongside teams across Trust Operations, Service Innovation, Legal, and Demand, Screening Specialists will support and impact our ability to support multiple types of custom screening needs for our entire community of Wonoloers and Requestors.
The Trust Operations team at Wonolo is dedicated to custom screening and pre-job screening procedures and consists of a skilled group responsible for evaluating ICF, Drug Screening, Custom BGC and MVR Requirements, and other types of screening needs our customers require. They design and verify both compliance and non-compliance screening needs, as well as verify and update Wonoloer profiles, job templates, and external facing communications needed to support these initiatives.

What you'll do:
- Reviewing the Wonoloers Immigration Compliance Form (ICF) and International Traffic in Arms Compliance (ITAR). The team will check all submitted ICF/ITAR forms and update Wonoloer's profile in Admin and our tracker based on the outcome.
- Help in monitoring fill rate for all Customers requiring MVR, ICF, Drug Screening, and custom screening BGC requirements to support Demand teams as well as Wonoloers who are going through pre-job screening requirements.
- Work alongside Program Leads and Team Leaders on Trust Ops to help implement, test and/or pilot, new custom screening workflows and processes to streamline efficiency.
- Monitor the progress, deny, suspend, or certify Wonoloers who submits for pre-job screening badges, such as MVR, Drug Screening, Custom BGC, and other types of screenings required prior to a worker starting a job.
- Submit requests to our vendors such as Evident and Yardstik to initiate appropriate pre-job screening requirements.
- Execute sending comms to assist worker go through the funnel process to avoid worker churning
- Become an expert user of our system. You will be involved in learning our product from a functional perspective and then helping our Wonoloers with their questions and addressing their problems and concerns.
- Work virtually through our support platform. Deliver a customer support experience that is both amicable and professional through interactions via text, call, and email with our users (if needed).
