Your mission will be to scale our game engine’s concurrent capability from 10X to 100X players. You’ll work with asynchronous event-driven architectures and optimize networking, caching, and messaging systems to achieve seamless, high-performance gameplay.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><br></p><ul><li>Enhance and optimize the game engine to handle a higher number of concurrent users efficiently.<br></li><li>Work extensively with the Twisted framework or any asynchronous event-driven framework.<br></li><li>Implement and improve WebSocket and TCP Socket connection handling for real-time interactions.<br></li><li>Optimize Redis for caching, Pub/Sub, and RabbitMQ for messaging to ensure stability and low latency.<br></li><li>Improve data persistence and transaction strategies using MySQL, integrating DBSlayer as the SQL connector.<br></li><li>Integrate and optimize HTTP API calls to external systems.<br></li><li>Identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring high-performance scalability.<br></li><li>Maintain game engine stability in a high-concurrency environment.<br></li><li>Work with AWS, including AWS Load Balancers and Auto Scaling, to ensure smooth resource management and optimal performance.<br></li></ul><p><br><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications:</strong><br></p><ul><li>5+ years of Python development experience, with a strong focus on backend systems.<br></li><li>Expertise in Python libraries to fully leverage Python’s capabilities.<br></li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Twisted or other asynchronous event-driven frameworks (e.g., Asyncio, Tornado, Gevent).<br></li><li>In-depth knowledge of WebSockets and TCP Socket communication.<br></li><li>Advanced experience with Redis (caching, Pub/Sub) and RabbitMQ.<br></li><li>Proficiency in MySQL with SQL optimization skills, preferably using DBSlayer.<br></li><li>Proven ability to build and optimize large-scale, high-concurrency distributed systems.<br></li><li>Strong debugging and profiling skills for network-intensive applications.<br></li><li>Solid understanding of AWS, including AWS Load Balancers and Auto Scaling.<br></li><li>Self-motivated, capable of working independently and collaborating within a team.<br></li><li>Minimum BE/BTech OR MCA / ME / MTech</li></ul><p> <strong>Nice to Have:</strong><br></p><ul><li>Experience developing real-time multiplayer game engines.<br></li><li>Familiarity with other message brokers and event-driven architectures.<br></li><li>Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-based scaling solutions.<br></li></ul><p><br><strong>Why Join Us?</strong><br></p><ul><li>Work on cutting-edge multiplayer game engine technology.<br></li><li>Collaborate with a team of talented engineers solving complex scalability challenges.</li></ul><p><br>If you are passionate about building high-performance, scalable systems and thrive in real-time networking environments, we’d love to hear from you!</p> •
