Engineering Manager / Technical Services Manager
Location: Bankside, London SE1
Core Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 17:00pm
Role Purpose:
Providing Technical leadership, management, and development of the contract, ensuring statutory, and operational commitments are met and exceeded. To support and deputise for the Account Manager when required.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide Technical leadership, and ensure that service commitments are met and exceeded.
- Ensuring technical processes are effectively communicated, and implemented within the contract.
- Ensure the provision of healthy and safe working conditions and that both clients and Company health and safety policy and process is effectively implemented across both Integral services and subcontractors activities, and are regularly review.
- Act as Contract HV/LV authorised person or Senior Authorised Person as necessary.
- Ensure optimum staffing structures operate across contract including HV AP present at all times.
- Ensure contract is staffed by fully competent teams, ensuring post holders are fully competent, and that effective training arrangements are in place.
- Working with other Operational managers to ensure effective teamworking, and support to colleagues/departments both internal and external.
- Co-ordinate with the National Mobile team for support across the portfolio where necessary.
- Ensure appropriate control systems to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met.
- Carry out periodic site visits to client portfolio which may involve occasional travel
- Ensuring a customer focus within all areas of operational activities, and that effective relationships are maintained with key client contacts.
- Promoting and maintaining the core Values of Integral and the client
- Provision of leadership and guidance, advice, coaching and direct support, where required to deliver best practice selection, training, assessment and recognition/reward.
- Delivering effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to management and team meetings, briefings, consultation forums, correspondence, publicity, monthly and ad-hoc reporting and other publications, as appropriate.
- Provide a learning environment, and appropriate training and development planning. Ensure basic training needs are delivered, employees are fully competent to undertake their roles, and are able to reach their full future potential.
- Participate in the out of hours escalation process and attend critical major out of hours maintenance activities or incidents where necessary.
- All other duties reasonably associated with the effective management of the client contract and Integral UK business activities.
