The Building People are seeking a qualified BUILDER Field Assessor
Travel requirements for meeting project delivery schedule; 2 weeks onsite, 1 week remote/home
· Provide technical field assessment services for building infrastructure and components, site infrastructure, and site utilities
· Familiarity with A10 Foundations, A20 Basement, B10 Superstructure, B20 Exterior, B30 Roofing, C10 Interior Construction, C20 Stairs, C30 Interior Finishes, D10 Conveyance, D20 Plumbing, D30 HVAC, D40 Fire Protection, D50 Electrical, E10 Equipment classifications.
· Perform Direct Condition Rating (DCR) through the use of BUILDER SMS, validating condition, status, component, for Green/Amber/Red status, with comment insertion and photographs.
· Determine maintenance requirements, dynamic (equipment) and non-dynamic (architectural features).
· Maintain Quality control continuity to apply consistent measurable condition status’ across multiple buildings and sites.
· Attention to detail for the data capture on condition ratings and associated costs.
· Provide level of understanding of RPIE and DoD Assets – unique site/building/infrastructure asset data model, directly corresponds back the data hierarchy within BUILDER.
Experience
- At least five (5) years of experience as a BUILDER field assessor.
- At least three (3) years of experience as a BUILDER specialized component-level field assessor.
- Technical familiarity to perform cost estimation in support of the field assessment data collection through the use of Gordian/RS Means.
- Technical familiarity with UNIFORMAT II for data structure
- Technical familiarity and experience with SQL Server for data model queries in support of QA/QC.
- Working knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and guidance
- Experience in working in a team environment for solution delivery.
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Associate of Science, plus 7 years experience as alternate

- Experience working within Federal and DoD IPD (Integrated Project Delivery) teams that may be matrixed across several programs.
- 2+ years successfully working from home or remote location, with minimal supervision.
- Operate within a NIST 800-171 compliant security environment internally and able to support all client-required cyber security data and operational processes.
- Operate within a home office environment that provides adequate workspace and high-speed internet connectivity.

- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Access, ArcGIS Server, Gordian/RS Means, AutoCAD/REVIT
- Familiarity with PPE – personal protection equipment and Dept of Defense base safety program compliance.
