Job Scope:
Supports companies with legal documents and matters, conducts legal research, and provides legal advice.
Essential Functions
- Handle workflows on Salesforce, Adobe/AdobeSign, DocuSign, Docsend, Dropbox, Slack, and CARTA, or similar technologies.
- Assisting with knowledge management, including maintaining and updating internal trackers, guidance, and other resources.
- Assisting with portfolio management and portfolio company requests and/or fund requests Assisting with the implementation and maintenance of software and other technology.
- Assisting with regulatory and compliance matters.
- Assisting with KYC/AML matters and processes.
- Assisting with billing review, and other fund management activities.
- Working with and assisting other teams, including the investment, funds, finance, and data teams.
- Selecting, managing, and negotiating with external law firms and service providers.
- Maintaining relationships with external legal vendors to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
- Assisting the legal team in closing transactions by liaising and coordinating with the various stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: BA/BS or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Paralegal and Notary Certification
- Law Degree
