Looking for a software engineer to support Windows Blue Team's Systems Vulnerability Analysts with the development of data collection and analysis tools. Developer will work closely with Blue Team operators to review and develop the requirements of the collection tools and then proceed with the development and implementation of the tools. You will be part of a larger development team supporting the Cyber Security Directorate's Defensive Network Operations organization.
Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and position appropriate security clearance is required. (e.g. Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency appropriate polygraph).
Capabilities
- Use leading edge technologies to develop analytics pulling data from multiple cyber sources.
- Develop prototypes answering new questions as well as providing better answers to existing questions.
- Develop new ways to represent the data using data science methods and automating analytic processes using machine language frameworks.
- Work directly with the customer in a highly collaborative, integrated environment.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and document big data cloud computing workflows.
Required Qualifications
- TS/SCI with agency appropriate poly
- Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience. An Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
- Computer Science (CS) degree or related field
Required Technical Skills
- Powershell
- Knowledge of Window's architecture
- Windows scripting/development
Desired Technical Skills
- Experience utilizing and development with Splunk
- Python
- Cyber Security Vulnerabilty Analysis
