Area Brand Manager (Sales or Account Management exp req)
Location: Houston, TX (WFH 1 day a week when not traveling to accounts)
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 + Bi-Annual Bonus ($4K-$10k/year)

Job Type: Full-Time
Hours: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible)
Travel: 4 days/week within Houston area to visit accounts - up to 60 miles per day

Area Brand Manager (Daily travel req) Description

Our client, a family-owned food brokerage, is seeking an Account Manager to join their Houston team. In this role, you will manage existing grocery accounts and work to expand brand presence across the Houston area. You will represent 5 brands and approximately 35 products. Your goal will be to develop relationships with accounts, ensure product placement and that stores are well-stocked. The ideal candidate has proven experience in sales or account management. Prior experience in the industry is not required. This role is perfect for someone who excels at relationship-building and delivering exceptional customer service, and comfortable with a mix of fieldwork and remote tasks. To excel in this position, you must be willing to travel locally and manage multiple accounts daily. Area Brand Manager (Daily travel req) Responsibilities

•    Manage and service 8-12 grocery accounts daily in Houston area
•    Ensure product displays are accurate and well-stocked
•    Drive product placement to maximize visibility and sales
•    Handle orders, expenses, and client presentations
•    Develop promotional plans to support product growth
•    Collaborate with account HQs and local management teams
•    Provide reports and updates during weekly team meetings
•    Participate in occasional corporate events and training trips
•    Identify and pursue new business opportunities
•    Conduct product presentations and demos for clients
•    Provide regular account updates and sales reports
•    Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
•    Stay informed on market trends and competitor activities

Area Brand Manager (Daily travel req) Qualifications

•    3+ years of sales or account management experience required
•    Strong organizational and follow-up skills required
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
•    Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred but not required
•    Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally 4 days/week required
