Quality Assurance Co-Op Student

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Co-op student for the Fall 2023 period.

This role is based in our plant in Scarborough, Ontario.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Build new drawings for pressure testing caps, go-no-go gauges
• Updating current spec sheets
• Build AutoCAD or SolidWorks drawings for QC test equipment
• Update QC spec sheets with SolidWorks or AutoCAD drawings
• Build plant layout which includes, but is not limited to fire extinguisher locations
• Develop with the help of production SOPs & work instructions and HSE Coordinator LOTO (lock out tag out) procedures
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as required

Requirements:

• Current enrollment in college or university
• Proficient with numbers and technical proficiency
• Excellent organizational skills and diligent
• Proficient in using MS Office Products
• Demonstrates high attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, partnership, and presentation skills
• Team player with excellent communication skills to complement strong problem-solving abilities
• Driven, structured, results-oriented student with a positive & professional demeanor
• Past Co-Op experience in a manufacturing environment would be useful
