We look forward to hearing from you!</p><p><strong><br></strong></p><h4><strong>The Role:</strong></h4><p>We are seeking an experienced Energy Industry Data Management Services Professional or an emerging technical service professional to complement our Professional Services team in Europe.</p><p>This is a technical hands-on role with a heavy customer focus requiring IT skills along with data management. Cloud and Cyber Security experience is a plus.</p><p>The successful candidate will be responsible for providing data management services to existing and new clients in the region and beyond. Included will be managing proof-of-value projects, and working with clients to understand and support their data management processes and needs, utilizing the Interica and Petrosys product suite as a foundation.</p><h4><strong><br></strong></h4><h4><strong>Main Job Functions:</strong></h4><ul><li>Engage with new and existing clients to assess requirements and architect solutions to meet their data management needs, which may include migration, integration, governance, analytics, reporting, submission, compliance, security and other requirements</li><li>Provide technical demonstrations of the Petrosys-Interica product suites which are relevant to the data management context. This will be predominantly <strong><em>Interica One View </em></strong>with opportunities also to learn Petrosys dbMap, and Petrosys Exchange.</li><li>Work with the Petrosys-Interica teams and the client to manage installation and configuration of the software, offer training/mentoring as necessary, and provide feedback to product development teams to ensure our solutions meet the desired needs of the client</li><li>Ensure data management projects are completed effectively, providing regular updates on progress reports to management and other stakeholders</li><li>Work with the Petrosys-Interica Support team to ensure client requests are effectively captured and acted on</li><li>Proficiencies will necessarily include some level of system administration, database administration, and scripting skills</li><li>Ability to travel domestically & international to engage with clients on-site, and to also work effectively remotely via web meetings and direct access to client infrastructure</li><li>Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at client organizations</li></ul><p></p><h4><strong>Required Skills and Qualifications:</strong></h4><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, information technology, geosciences or earth sciences, or a related field or equivalent industry on the job experience</li><li>Demonstrable technical knowledge of data management-related technologies including but not limited to ETL, RDBMS, data warehousing, data lakes, master data management, data governance, cloud infrastructure, REST API, BI tools such as Power BI, scripting languages such as Python</li><li>Demonstrable understanding of key geoscience data types Wells and Seismic</li><li>Experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems</li><li>Some level of experience with SQL query constructs and spatial geometry handling in RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres</li><li>Some level of experience with energy domain-specific software, platforms, and data formats, such as Petrel/Halliburton/Kingdom, SegY/LAS/DLIS, SHP/Geodatabases</li><li>Highly desirable is experience with standards bodies such as Energistics, PPDM, OSDU, EPSG</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to clients</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team to meet client requirements</li><li>Flexibility to work with the Petrosys-Interica teams and client organizations across different timezones both within and outside of the Europe region</li><li>Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and support project implementations, which may include international travel.</li><li>Fluency in Norwegian, written and oral, is a requirement for this role.</li></ul><p><strong><br></strong></p><h4><strong><br></strong><strong>Benefits</strong></h4><p>You will enjoy a competitive salary based on your experience plus you will be part of a leading-edge, growing organization which values your professional growth and development</p><p></p><h4><strong>Are you interested in learning more?</strong></h4><p>Get in touch with Ingunn Søyland at our recruitment partner Magnet Executive Search.
