Your Impact
Due to our fast-growing team in our Dubai office we are seeking a People Experience Generalist. As part of the Global HR Team, you will be tasked with supporting the full employee life cycle, building relationships with stakeholders, supporting change management, and driving the company culture within the team.

As the go-to person in the office, the role will also require you to manage office issues, keep employee files on track, manage company policies, and use your knowledge of Dubai labour legislation.

A Typical Day

  • Manage employee onboarding and offboarding in line with local regulations and ensure compliance with company standards.  
  • Drive the company culture by leading initiatives that promote inclusivity and reflect the diverse backgrounds of team members.  
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as the connection between teams, managers, and employees.  
  • Provide timely support for employee inquiries, leveraging tools like Slack and Jira to manage and track requests.  
  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee data within the HRIS system (Hibob), ensuring precision and up-to-date records.  
  • Support key HR priorities on a local and global scale, aligning HR initiatives with broader business objectives.   
  • Lead regional initiatives to improve the workplace experience, ensuring hybrid and remote workers feel equally supported.   
  • Contribute to global HR projects, such as enhancing onboarding processes or developing employee engagement strategies.  
  • Evaluate and implement benefits, such as health insurance, in collaboration with the Rewards & Payroll team to ensure competitive offerings.  
  • Analyse and report on key HR metrics, including employee retention rates and workplace satisfaction scores, using tools like Google Suite and Hibob.  
  • Drive office management functions, ensuring a well-organised, efficient, and smooth-running workplace, including event organisation and vendor coordination.  
  • Balance multiple tasks, including onboarding new hires, managing payroll issues, and coordinating office events across your designated regions.  
  • Monitor and respond to Jira tickets related to HR, payroll, and workplace experience, ensuring all issues are resolved promptly.  
  • Manage your role in a flat and matrix organisation, balancing priorities effectively and responding to a high volume of HR administration and facilities requests.  
  • Advise in a calm and organised manner, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions. 

Your Expertise

  • 3-5 years experience in HR Operations and Support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous startup/scale-up experience
  • Proven track record of managing HR processes such as onboarding and employee relations across multiple regions.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment with a deep understanding of cultural nuances in HR practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Dubai labour law and willingness to learn other legislations.
  • Basic knowledge of payroll and visa relations across UAE.
  • Proficiency in English is an absolute must. Arabic is a plus.
  • Proficient in HRIS systems (Hibob preferred), with a strong ability to manage employee data and generate reports.
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Suite and basic proficiency in Jira for project management and issue tracking.
  • High proficiency in Slack for communication and collaboration across teams.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with employees at all levels and across different regions.
  • Experience with performing office management functions for the on-site office, including event organization and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and respond to a high volume of queries and requests for HR administration and facilities

Additional Information

  • This is a full-time, hybrid role with a flexible work schedule, offering 3 days in our Dubai office and 2 days of remote work. Fluency in English is required, with strong written and verbal communication skills being essential. Fluency in Arabic is a strong plus.
