Types of procedures required.
Assessments completed every 4 hours, completes med passes as scheduled, completes physician orders in a timely and efficient manner, provides safe, quality care.
Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
EPIC is utilized for the EMR and Pyxis for medications.
Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: 7 bed unit
Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 4:1 on Med Surg Extended / If needed to float ratio would be 5:1
Will attend General Hospital Orientation and Jumpstart.

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 year of med-surg experience.
Indiana RN License Required.
Specific Licensures and Certifications/Registrations Required:

BLS.
NIHSS.

Preferred:

ACLS - preferred.
