RN MedSurg Float

• Types of procedures required.
• Assessments completed every 4 hours, completes med passes as scheduled, completes physician orders in a timely and efficient manner, provides safe, quality care.
• Equipment utilized in the unit/dept.
• EPIC is utilized for the EMR and Pyxis for medications.
• Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept: 7 bed unit
• Nurse to patient ratio of this unit: 4:1 on Med Surg Extended / If needed to float ratio would be 5:1
• Will attend General Hospital Orientation and Jumpstart.

• Minimum of 1 year of med-surg experience.
• Indiana RN License Required.
• Specific Licensures and Certifications/Registrations Required:

• BLS.
• NIHSS.

• ACLS - preferred.
