Everything we do here spins around Plan Zero. So, naturally, the team you’ll be joining plays a gigantic role in making that happen. Here’s how:
The Energy Tech team looks after the automated energy commodity trading systems, FLEX automated asset management systems and the SQL-based data lake which is used by analysts to forecast our energy consumption and demand. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Manager to join the Energy Tech team, composed of 12 engineers in two squads. Working alongside Product Managers, Delivery Managers and senior stakeholders, you will represent Engineering at every turn.
You will be responsible for the technical direction, team shape, welfare and progression of the exceptional engineers we have in the team.
Alongside the other SEMs in the FinOps domain, you will be involved in cross-cutting engineering initiatives around CI/CD, DORA, engineering excellence and quality assurance - striving for improvement using Kaizen and metric-driven analysis on how to be the best team possible!
