Job Title: Market Human Resources Business Partner
Location: Danville, VA 24541
Range: $60k - $87k/yr. Full time position with all the benefits

Job Description:
  1. The Market Human Resources Business Partner will provide strategic HR and talent support to designated leaders and employees at one or more Sovah Health facilities.
  2. You will work to create a desired workplace culture and an engaged and productive workforce through Sovah Health's policies, programs and practices.
  1. Associates degree or equivalent related work experience required. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  2. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. General Office duties (phones, filing, organizational work).
  3. Computer work (must have experience with word, excel, and power point.
  4. Customer Service (must have the ability to multi-task and help people to locate the appropriate resource for their needs. PHR, SPHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
  5. Two (2) years of Employee Relations experience required.
  1. You will engage designated leaders to understand talent needs of the businesses and define people strategies.
  2. Partner with the Market Director, HR and HSC to support Labor Relations strategy.
  3. You will provide HR observations related to departmental issues in meetings and one-on-one to help develop appropriate initiatives.
  4. Advise leaders on learning and organizational development which includes program implementation such as ensuring completion of employee development plans, updating the succession plan and implementing other programs and tools.
  5. Support employee relations, ethics, or compliance investigations.
  6. Prepare managers for the compensation planning process and provide compensation budget information.
  7. Perform workers comp intake processing, support applicable employee leave of absence or return to work administration at facility level.
  8. Understand TJC and CMS HR requirements while assisting HR Leaders with regulatory compliance.
  9. Monitors and tracks that regulatory standards are in compliance. Audits files periodically for compliance.
  10. Assists HR Leader as requested during surveys
