The Product Operations Manager is a key role within the Product Management team, tasked with driving operational discipline, rigor, and execution within the product organization and cross-functionally across the Advantive portfolio. Your role – reporting directly to the Chief product Officer – is to scale Advantive’s product organization, effective stakeholder management, customer discovery, cross functional alignment, pricing strategy, and M&A integration. We are looking for a leader who drives business results by setting the pace, aligning to Advantive cadence, developing new processes, building programs at scale, and ensures Advantive continues to grow both organically and inorganically.
As Product Operations Manager, you will reinforce product strategy and execution with metrics, identify areas of needed improvement, and drive cross-functional alignment and delivery against our defining objectives in support of our standard objectives. You will build tools to help Advantive scale through operational efficiency, clarity, and disciplined execution. Successful candidates for this role drive enterprise value creation, are highly analytical, have a high attention to detail, and are skilled at identifying and resolving issues that create inefficiency and prevent scale. You are a self-starter with experience at scale and can work independently with a strong sense of ownership.
This position reports to the Chief Product officer and will be based remotely within the US. We’re looking to have someone join our team immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans that are closely aligned with business goals, ensuring operational impact
- Adopt and apply industry best practices consistently throughout the product management lifecycle to enhance product success
- Improve efficiency by identifying opportunities and designing process improvements
- Develop and utilize metrics and KPIs to inform and drive strategic decisions in product management
- Lead organizational change initiatives and drive continuous improvement within product management and across the organization
- Support effective product management processes and tools from inception to retirement, ensuring lifecycle success
- Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring alignment with product financial objectives and overall fiscal health
- Operate successfully within the fast-paced and rigorous standards of private equity and M&A environments, meeting high performance criteria
- Manage portfolio-wide pricing initiatives that drive value creation and ensure timely delivery to market to support sales and GTM initiatives
- Own and contribute to strategy, planning, and review cadences for Product teams while ensuring that each organization is well-aligned to these practices and getting what they need
- Scale product knowledge throughout the company, serving as an ambassador for product org, product process, and product strategy/roadmap
- Lead technical partner relationships and drive reduced cost and GTM expansion opportunities across the portfolio

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; MBA preferred
- 5+ years running a product operations or business operations role at a scaled technology company
- Deep understanding of product management, design, engineering, user research and how these functions come together to deliver innovation
- Strong relationship skills with the ability to foster a sense of community with cross-functional stakeholders
- Travel: this position requires up to 20% travel, primarily in North America but also globally
- Office Requirements: Fully remote
Preferred Experience
- MBA or master’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or related discipline
- Experience in a Product Manager role or consulting background is preferred
