Mission
As the Marketplace Delivery Team Lead, you will lead and mentor a team of three Marketplace Delivery Managers, guiding them in onboarding customers to our marketplace and ensuring seamless, automated service delivery. Your role is to optimize team performance, drive marketplace utilization, and ensure our SLAs are consistently met with a focus on quality and on-time delivery.
Outcomes
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, support, and be the voice of a team of three Marketplace Delivery Managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Strategic Oversight: Guide your team in utilizing Smartcat’s automated technologies to achieve 90% workflow automation, intervening when necessary to ensure 100% delivery of SLAs.
Performance Management: Monitor and manage team performance to achieve goals, such as contributing to 100% QoQ marketplace utilization growth and maintaining less than 8% annual churn.
Customer Onboarding: Oversee the onboarding of new customers, ensuring that your team delivers a seamless and positive experience.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all translations delivered through the marketplace meet the highest standards of quality and timeliness, sourcing the right suppliers as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers, Account Executives, Solutions Architects, and Support teams to align on client needs and drive continuous improvement across the marketplace delivery operations.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within your team, optimizing processes and increasing efficiency.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a translation project management or localization management role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of language and localization processes, tools, and technologies, including translation management systems (TMS) and artificial intelligence (AI).
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams, managing projects, and achieving strategic goals.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to foster collaboration across remote teams.
- A solution-oriented mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- A track record of success in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, preferably within a startup.
