As the program director overseeing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)—known at Bezos Academy as Belonging and Becoming (B&B)—you will lead the program management of organization-wide initiatives that directly support our B&B outcomes. Established in 2020, our B&B outcomes represent our commitments to (DEI) at Bezos Academy. We aim to foster an inclusive community for children, families, and our colleagues—one where all feel a sense of belonging and have the opportunities to become whom they seek to be. As our B&B Program Director, you will lead cross-functional stakeholders in the development and implementation of policies and programs that achieve our B&B outcomes for our classrooms, communities, staff, and partners. Grounded in our leadership principles, will lead a programmatic, enterprise-wide approach to track our progress and drive accountability against our B&B goals and objectives. Reporting to our Chief People Officer (CHRO), you will establish key metrics and mechanisms that measure success based on the outcomes of this work.

You bring a track record of developing and operationalizing strategies to achieve diversity, equity, and inclusion objectives. You recognize that equity work across our teams and stakeholders is central to fulfilling our mission at Bezos Academy, so we can nurture the potential in all children and staff. You are a strong, data-driven program manager with exceptional writing abilities who knows how to lead teams to deliver results and operate excellently. You know how to build strong working relationships and collaborate across lines of difference, aligning and inspiring people around shared goals. Above all, you are passionate about our mission to increase access to early childhood education in under-resourced communities nationwide, creating ripples of impact for generations to come.
