What you’ll do

The APAC Sales team is seeking a proactive and results-driven Commercial Team Lead to manage a team of Commercial managers in Maritime sector to develop relationship and grow the accounts within APAC Book of Business

You’ll be working directly with Commercial Director, APAC to ensure region growth with Kpler and expand revenue generation. We’re looking for someone who excels in leading a motivated sales team in upselling, cross-selling and open new business relationships within maritime sector, not limiting to shipping, logistics, containers and more

More specifically you will:

  • Be responsible for the sale of a business's products or services in a specified region or geographical area and reports to the Commercial Director, APAC
  • Nurture relationships in the Maritimes sectors to achieve sales targets and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Initiate and lead discussions with key decision makers including directors and senior managers, to identify business needs and opportunities.
  • Ensure profitable growth in sales, and revenue through planning, execution, and management of a supportive team
  • Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives
  • Strategize sales plans for short and long-term objectives
  • Experience in Sales selling solutions in the Maritimes and/or selling B2B SaaS or data solutions.

You are or have...

  • Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role (>3 years)
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
  • Familiarity with CRM software, preferably Salesforce
  • Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent analytical skills and comfort with math
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to motivate staff and lead a team
  • The right level of entrepreneurship, creativity, and commitment
  • Maritime domain experience is a plus
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • University degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a relevant field
