The Role

As we continue our rapid expansion into new business units and global markets, we are seeking a Financial Controller to join our Financial Planning & Analysis team remotely in Ukraine. In this role, your expertise in implementing robust controls and conducting in-depth analysis will directly impact our ability to improve financial performance, reduce risks, and ensure accurate reporting as we scale our global operation.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Tax, and Legal teams, reporting to the Lead, Financial Controlling. This is an excellent opportunity to drive impact and advance your career within a high-growth tech company.

What You Will Do

  • Monitor business performance and conduct budget versus actual variance analysis at a general profit and loss (P&L) level, as well as performance analysis for different lines of business (LoBs)
  • Work closely with the reporting team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the management reporting processes
  • Perform post-factum analysis of expense reimbursement requests to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Test key financial controls and communicate the results to relevant stakeholders
  • Oversee procurement and payment controls
  • Participate in creating and updating policies, instructions, and procedures to define the framework for internal controls
  • Collaborate with other divisions by assisting with the creation of financial reports, tracking and measuring the ROI of projects, and explaining financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
  • Provide financial data for external requests

What We Look For

  • At least Upper-Intermediate English proficiency (B2) - both oral and written
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role at an international tech or non-tech multinational companies
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Spreadsheets
  • Familiarity with the requirements of the main IFRS standards applicable to SaaS companies
  • Understanding of the Internal Audit process
  • Demonstrated ability to write policies and comprehend company business processes effectively
  • Tech-savvy mindset with a demonstrated ability to learn fast
  • High attention to detail with an ability to multitask
