Mission Healthcare is looking for an amazing, phenomenal, truly wonderful Contract and Licensing Coordinator to join our team.
We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Contract and Licensing Coordinator to join our team! In this entry-level role, you will support the management of contracts and licensing processes, ensuring all licensed entities are properly verified and meet state and regulatory requirements. You'll assist with administrative tasks and help maintain accurate records and tracking systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
This position offers the opportunity to work independently while developing important skills in contract management and licensing. Strong computer skills are essential, as you'll be maintaining data and conducting research related to licensing and credentialing.
Compensation: $25/hour, depending on experience.
Job Functions/Responsiblities
- Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory and accrediting institutions.
- Help manage the volume of applications to ensure timely processing.
- Communicate with both internal and external parties to update and resolve licensing needs.
- Support the development of credentialing processes and documentation.
- Keep accurate records related to licensing, credentials, and contracts.
- Be a collaborative team player who contributes to a positive work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external contacts.
- Manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) required; 1+ year of experience in healthcare credentialing is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Ability to proofread and edit documents for accuracy.
- Comfortable handling confidential information with care.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a developing program.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
