People Ops Generalist

About This Opportunity:
Popmenu is looking for a People Ops Generalist to help us protect and grow our cultural DNA. This role will provide administrative and team member support for the People Operations team. Our ideal candidate brings solid best practices to the table and is excited about supporting all initiatives within People Ops.

Our People Ops Generalist plays a key role in ensuring it stays that way, whether by onboarding new hires, creating innovative culture events, or championing our values. This also includes contributing to the overall growth and development of the organization through these efforts.
· Benefits: Our People Ops Generalist manages and owns the benefits administration for all insurance, 401(k), and other benefits, in partnership with our brokers and vendors. This includes managing all leaves to ensure compliance with laws and timelines.
· Talent Management: Our People Ops Generalist understands how to proactively manage talent. From conducting quarterly reviews over development programs for high-potential team members to supporting our leaders in coaching underperformers, they know how to add value to our organization.
· Team Member Engagement and Retention: Our People Ops Generalist is attuned to who is excited, who’s struggling, and who might be a flight risk. They work to ensure that both our Atlanta-based and remote workforce are engaged and supported.
· Reporting and Payroll: Our People Ops Generalist helps ensure that data and records are accurate and compliant throughout the entire team member life cycle, from onboarding to termination. You’ll also have the opportunity to help create tools and strategies to improve our processes. To do this, it is important that you become proficient in our HRIS system, including learning how to run our semi-monthly payroll.
What You Bring to the Table:
· 7+ years of progressive HR experience
· Sound knowledge of state-specific employment laws: Much of our workforce is remote, and we need to comply with all local laws.
· Proven methods for creating engaging programs and business acumen: You have mastered various communication techniques and program/process implementations. You also have a strong grasp of what is appropriate for different business situations and decisions, including a basic understanding of reporting, data insights, and analysis.
· Proven ability to build trustful relationships at different levels of the organization and proactively manage conflict. A deep understanding of team member relations is essential for this skill.
· Systems knowledge & management: You have a strong understanding of updating and managing different systems (HRIS, benefits, team member tracking, Excel spreadsheets, etc.).
· Outstanding organizational, administrative, and time management skills!
At Popmenu, we believe in transparency and meeting candidates at eye level. We know that money isn’t everything, but it is important. For this role, we have determined a compensation range of $60K to $67K base salary, plus bonus potential, in addition to company equity, as a fair and attractive offer.
