As the Vice President of Brand and Creative Services at Care.com, you will play a pivotal role in defining, shaping, and promoting our brand identity, creative vision, and creative execution.  With great creatives inside the company and awesome creative partners outside the company.  This is a unique opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and scrappy environment to make a significant impact on our company's growth and success.  And more importantly, to make a massive impact on the world we live in.  

What You'll Be Working On:

  • Brand Strategy and Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with the company's goals and mission.
  • Lead internal and external creative teams to conceptualize and execute innovative brand campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Oversee the development of brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all company touchpoints.
  • Creative Direction: Provide creative direction and inspiration to the in-house and out of house creative teams and agencies, including graphic designers, copywriters, and videographers.
  • Ensure all creative assets are in line with the brand's vision and resonate with the target audience.
  • Content Creation: Drive the creation of compelling, engaging, and shareable content across various platforms, including digital, social media, print, and video.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to produce content that tells the company's story and supports marketing initiatives.
  • Channel responsibilities will include TV, Video, Display, Paid Social, Audio, Editorial content and Marketing and Sales collateral that supports our enterprise efforts 
  • Campaign Management: Partner with your peers to create and execute integrated marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and generate excitement about our products and services.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and adapt strategies for maximum impact.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing creative team, fostering a culture of innovation and scrappiness.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work on time and within budget.
  • Budget Management: Manage the budget for the brand and creative department, optimizing resources to achieve maximum results.
  • Market Research: Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer preferences to inform brand and creative strategies.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • 15+ years of experience in brand/creative marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a large team, with a strong ability to inspire and coach, a history of hiring, managing, and leading high-performing teams
  • Significant experience managing both internal and external creative teams and partners and bringing alignment, consistency and great work across their efforts
  • Scrappy mindset, with a track record of achieving creative excellence within resource constraints.
  • Proven experience in a similar brand and creative leadership role, ideally within the technology industry.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creative and branding expertise.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective brand strategies.
  • Excellent project management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to measure and optimize the success of branding and marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to think strategically across the short, medium, and long term and an interest in watching evolving the brand. 
  • Known for excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire, inform, and persuade both internal stakeholders and key client partners
  • Experience overseeing a large marketing budget, and holistically managing to spend allocation across channels
  • Report performance to senior leadership on a regular basis, highlighting opportunities or trends for continuous improvement
  • Act as point of contact with external agencies and partners, leading communication and providing strategic/creative feedback while managing approvals

Salary Range: $216,000 - 270,000 The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives. In addition, Care.com provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life, and disability insurance, a generous 401K employer matching program, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO).
